This meticulously maintained 27-hole championship golf courses provide awe-inspiring views of the McDowell Mountains and Sonoran Desert. You may enjoy playing this resort course gem as a guest of the Grand Hyatt. Michael Poellot, the former chief architect for Robert Trent Jones Jr., and Bradford L. Benz, another renowned golf course designer, designed the golf courses at Gainey Ranch. The two architects worked together to create a challenging and enjoyable golf experience showcasing the Sonoran Desert's natural beauty. The three 9's, The Lakes Course, The Dunes Course and the Arroyo Course, are masterpieces to please the most discerning golfer. The Lakes Course with it's lush greenery, sparkling waterways and spectacular waterfall at the ninth hole, is both a challenging Scottsdale golf course and a delightful one. The Dunes Course surrounded by the indigenous desert, requires accuracy off the tee and a gentle touch on the greens. Last but not least, The Arroyo Course as the longest of the three nines, requires both power and placement, ending with its infamous peninsular green on No. 9.
