About Hampton Cove - River Course

The northern gateway to the Trail is Hampton Cove in Huntsville, a 54-hole facility with terrain that drastically changes from one side of the property to the other. Renovated in 2008, The Highlands course has been restored to its original Scottish Links design. Completely opposite in design is the River course, the only Robert Trent Jones layout without a single bunker. The River Course is a throwback to the way courses were built long ago. The dirt was merely pushed up to create the greens and tees, leaving all else, including massive oak trees, undisturbed. The River course is laid out on former soybean fields in the flood plain of the Flint River. With water on 16 of the 18 holes, the River course will challenge your shot-making ability.

    Hampton Cove - River Course Restrictions & Fees

    Robert Trent Jones Trail imposes a strict deposit and cancellation policy. These policies will supersede the policies of the Tour Operator. A deposit of $150 per person is due at booking for any Robert Trent Jones Trail packages. Any cancellations, full or partial, are 100% refundable if cancelled 31 days or more prior to arrival. Any cancellations within 30 days -16 days prior to arrival will forfeit $75 per golfer. Any cancellations within 15 days or less prior to arrival forfeit $100 per golfer. Full payment due by 30 days prior to arrival. Any hotel stay cancelled within 48 hours of arrival will forfeit the first night’s stay plus tax. Any golf cancellations made on the day of play will be issued a rain check. — 1/1/2020 - 12/31/2029
